About Ultramount

Jon Wilmot's wife gave him a replica Walter Payton jersey. Wilmot wanted to frame it but was discouraged when he found that it would cost $200 to $500. So Wilmot, whose day job is in insurance, designed his own jersey mounting system. The Ultra Mount Jersey Display Hanger consists of a wall mount, the mounting hardware and an aluminum rod that is custom-fit to the jersey's shoulder width. There is no glass case, "so I can take down my jersey, wear it to a Chicago game, then wash it and hang it up again," Wilmot said. The system is especially popular with people who have multiple pro jerseys and also among parents who want to hang up the jerseys their kids wore in their sports leagues.
