1. Will my insurance cover Solarveil Apparel?
   No. Although Solarveil provides effective protection from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays, is not considered a medical device, and is therefore, not able to be deducted as a medical expense.

3. If I order today, when can I expect to receive my Solarveil Order?
   If we have the item you ordered in stock, we can usually ship it by the next business day.  Then it depends on which shipping method you choose: UPS Ground, 3 Day, 2nd Day or Overnight.

4. How do I care for Solarveil products?
   Apparel: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.  Do not dry-clean.  Use cool iron if needed.  Do not bleach.
   Hats: Hand wash only.
   Solarveil fabric is made with a soil release system, so most stains easily wash out.

5. Do you make Solarveil Plus sizes?
   We offer some of our styles in size XXL. We also make plus sizes for a catalog called Junonia. You can visit their Web site at www.junonia.com or call them at 1-800-586-6642 to order limited Solarveil styles in 2X, 4X, and 6X.

6. Do the sun protective properties wash out of Solarveil?
   No.  The sun protective properties are permanent in the fabric for the life of the garment.

7. Will Solarveil work in the water for swimming or snorkeling?
   Yes.  Solarveil works equally well wet or dry, and when you get out of the water, Solarveil will dry in just minutes.

8. Does the color affect how much protection I will get?
   All Solarveil colors provide effective protection with the darker colors providing slightly more.

9. Are the lighter colors cooler to wear than the darker colors?
   With traditional fabrics, lighter colors are cooler to wear, but with Solarveil, the fabric is so breathable that it prevents heat build up under the fabric.  Therefore, the lighter and darker colors are very similar in providing cool comfort.

10. Will Solarveil colors fade?
    No. Solarveil is colorfast, even in chlorinated water or salt water and after multiple washings and multiple exposures to the sun. The colors stay remarkably true for the life of the garment.

11. Will the sun protection wash out of the garment during laundering?
    No.  The sun protection properties and UV inhibitors are tested for over 1000 washings and Solarveil does not lose its sun protective properties.
