The most common way to carry a child (10lbs - 45lbs) is on the hip. Unfortunately our bodies are not exactly built to comfortably carry a child this way. We awkwardly curve our back while sticking out our hip to create a seat for our child. Though this technique is natural it is not good for our back, hip and arm. This problem is very frustrating to both the child who wants to be carried and the parent who is unable to carry their child for very long.
